Key Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities
Installation & Technical Work
Assemble, install, and troubleshoot audio, video, lighting, and control equipment
Pull, terminate, label, and manage a variety of cables (XLR, RJ45, TRS, BNC, F-CONN, etc.)
Ability to test & troubleshoot systems at a basic Level (Continuity & Pass/Fail Testing)
Mount and rig displays, projectors, speakers, cameras, racks, and lighting equipment
Test and verify system performance after installations, making repairs or adjustments as needed.
Work with colleagues to ensure projects remain on schedule, meet or exceed deadlines, and uphold quality standards.
Takes direction well and assumes full responsibility for their work while seeking opportunities to perform additional tasks proactively
Conduct daily and weekly project status check-ins with the Project Manager as part of assigned responsibilities.
Immediately report any job site issues, unforeseen changes, or circumstances that may impact scheduling to the designated Project Manager and/or direct supervisor.
Equipment & Vehicles
Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites, the warehouse, and other necessary locations.
Operate company vehicles safely and in accordance with company policies
Maintain, secure, and track company tools and equipment
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to company, client, and OSHA safety standards
Carry out installations that align with the company's quality and performance standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including on job sites and in vehicles.
Documentation & Reporting
Utilize all software and tools required by MediaVine, including G-Suite, Grasshopper, digital filing systems, company databases, and project update platforms.
Accurately report project-related time and activities.
Maintain and regularly update all project documentation related to the job and client, including drawings, files, notes, photos, BlueBeam updates, markups, as-built information, and other relevant materials.
Complete all required paperwork, including time sheets and installation service tickets
Ensure Operation and Maintenance Manuals are delivered for completed projects, and execute client handoffs and trainings where required.
Team & Professional Development
Attend project meetings and safety briefing training sessions as required
Stay updated on new AVL technologies and industry best practices
Provide product and system training for both clients and team members
Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Follows through on commitments with team members, clients, and themselves
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of experience in AVL, telecommunications, low voltage, or construction preferred
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Basic understanding of technical AV theory and drawings (signal flow, networking, navigation of line drawings, blueprints, and schematics)
Experience with G-Suite, D-Tools, Q-SYS, Dante Controller, and Audio Architect preferred
Skilled in terminating, testing, verifying, and repairing connections and related components.
Experienced in troubleshooting and repairs, with the ability to perform service calls independently.

Required Licenses
Aerial Scissors, Boom & Forklift Certified - MediaVine Provided
Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and be eligible for coverage under the company’s auto insurance policy.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required)
ETCP Rigging Certification
AVIXA CTS/CTS-I, Dante Level 1, QSC/Q-SYS Level 1
OSHA 10/30, 30 preferred
Working Conditions
Standing, walking, climbing ladders/lifts, and working at heights exceeding 6 feet
Fine motor function and dexterity for small component installation
Exposure to construction environments (dust, lack of climate control, confined spaces)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Occasional irregular or extended work hours
Travel Expectations: Approximately 5-10% of the time, mainly to job sites within a 60-mile radius of our office, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed.
